AXIS has one of the largest Phase I Pharmacology centers in the USA
Our 120,000 sq ft facility is designed for small, complex studies and large, subject-size studies alike.
Clinical Units
The facility houses 234 beds, including 54 hospital beds configured into four separate study units.
Pharmacy
Our pharmacy is licensed in the state of Minnesota and registered with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) enabling us to dispense Schedule II-V medications.
Regulatory and Compliance
We have successfully completed FDA inspections multiple times, most recently in 2023; World Health Organization 2023.
Safety Laboratory
Our in-house clinical safety lab allows for rapid screening and safety monitoring throughout your study.
PBMC Counting
Our in-house lab has the ability to process samples for PBMC count in a timely and efficient manner.

Onsite Bioanalytical Laboratory
AXIS has a fully equipped state-of-the-art Bioanalytical lab located on the same premises as its Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Minnesota. This allows for highly expedited analysis for dose-escalation studies.
The Bioanalytical leadership team has more than 30 years of industry experience in developing assays and conducting pharmacokinetic analysis to FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines. We have more than 100 fully validated bioanalytical assays and have access to a library of more than 500 developed assays.
